222 Plan Passed by Unanimous Vote

222 Plan Passed by Unanimous Vote

Today, we took a big step in the fight to end homelessness: voting unanimously to adopt the 222 Plan. By doing so, every councilmember has pledged to build a minimum of 222 units of permanent supportive housing in their districts, ensuring they are spread equally throughout the city. This means in the next three years we will build a minimum of 3,330 units to house our homeless brothers and sisters.

The 222 Plan is part of Everyone In, a county-wide initiative spearheaded by the United Way of Los Angeles. We are proud to be a partner to this historic initiative and will continue looking for creative, humane and equitable solutions to fighting homelessness.
