13 Feb Celebrating Historically Black Colleges and Universities
As a proud alumni of Lincoln University (our country’s first degree-granting HBCU), Historically Black Colleges and Universities have a special place in my heart. I joined my friend, colleague and fellow-HBCU graduate for a special presentation celebrating the contributions of these institutions and their students. We honored Alisa Odurna and Karim Webb, two HBCU alum who have done right by their community and city. These schools are essential to the educational fabric of our nation, and we must continue doing all we can to lift up HBCUs and the individuals they empower.
